How I found it was actually a bit daft — I couldn't ever work out what an e/w return actually was with 1/5 odds a place. I'd just guess and then be surprised. Now I punch the numbers in first, every time, even a simple single bet.

Same tool covers the fiddly ones — doubles and trebles returns, a lucky 15, patents and yankees, honestly that's where I'd always got it wrong. The thing that really changed how I bet is the geekier tools. They've got an odds-to-probability thing which shows you the overround, and there's the kelly tool — I use half kelly because full kelly is terrifying. The dutching one is decent if I'm spreading across selections.
Couple of gripes. The design is very functional, let's say — not much frills, which honestly I don't mind but some will. Phone-wise it's usable though the lucky 63 breakdown need a bit of scrolling. There's no proper app, it's a website and that's it — fine by me but you asked.
Anyway. Costs nowt, barely any ads, does the job. Anyone who honestly works out returns on a calculator app, try it — saves me a load of dumb bets I'd have regretted.
