So — been using this thing for something like five months now and it's stuck on my phone, so figured I'd chuck my thoughts in since a lad on another thread asked me the other day. Am in the UK, generally stick to footie and the horses, nothing mad, just so you know where I'm coming from.
The reason I started using it was honestly a bit daft — I could never figure out what an each way payout would be with 1/5 odds a place. Basically I'd eyeball it and then be surprised. Now I stick my stake in first, every time, even a simple single bet.
Their single bet calculator is the one I open most — you put in stake and odds and it shows profit and total return instantly, fractions or decimals. It also handles the bigger stuff — doubles and trebles returns, a lucky 15, yankees, which is where most people I know mess it up. If you fancy a poke about, it lives at acca accumulator — free, no signup.
What really changed how I bet is the nerdier tools. They've got an probability calculator which shows you how much the bookie's taking, and there's the kelly tool — I run quarter kelly since full stakes are terrifying. The dutch tool is decent if I'm splitting a race.
Not all sunshine though. Its layout is pretty plain — zero frills, it's clearly function over form. Phone-wise it works although the lucky 63 breakdown are a squeeze. And nothing on the app store, just the site — slight shame but worth saying.
So yeah. Costs nowt, not plastered in adverts, works. If you even now works out returns on a calculator app, try it — saves me a fair few "wait, that's it?" moments.
